Unto You

You say you want to end it
You say that we can’t go on
You say that you still love me
But being in love is gone

I say that time is too short
You have not had time to heal
I feel that you are playing
With emotions that I feel

I have a dark suspicion
That for you this may be true
Inside the darkest recess
Of the pain inside of you

I can not believe your words
Because time and time again
I see the feelings you hide
Far deep inside you, within

I can not end this marriage
Before its whole time is due
Without the will of the One
Who did bring me unto you
